I met my husband in 2001 at Middle Georgia State University (MGA) and graduated in 2004, with a B.S. in Communications and Information Technology. My varied work experience reflects time following him from University to University, as he worked toward becoming a Chiropractor. We finally settled down in Colorado, in 2010, and in 2011 we started our family.
I spent the last ten years exploring the world through the eyes of my children. During that time, I was always a teacher, helping my girls understand the world and creating opportunities for them to engage in learning experiences. During the pandemic, I homeschooled the girls, grades 1&2 and 3&4. We read and discussed Philosophy&Ethics, Math&Science, Music&Art, History&Current Events.
Then, Fall of 2022, we all returned to school, the girls to grades 3&5 and me, back to MGA (online), to earn a Master of Technical and Professional Writing.
